VIdeographer

As a videographer, you will work alongside the Director of Videography, capturing all the amazing moments that occur in our space and upload the footage to our cloud. The types of events you will be covering are spoken word open mics, gallery openings, drink salon panels, DJ shows, concerts, and more!

 
 
 
 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Show up to the event you are scheduled for with enough time before they begin to test out troubleshooting of your camera.

  • Usually after capturing an event, we interview the artists that roll through our space, so make sure to schedule in time or inform the director of any complications.

  • After capturing each event, upload the footage to our cloud to ensure good workflow to our video editors.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A keen eye for where to be pointing the camera to make sure beautiful moments are captured.

  • Familiarity with basic camera operations, like exposure, ISO, shutter speed, white balance, formatting cards, output file types, etc.

  • Understand uploading footage to clouds, like Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, etc. And make sure to inform the director when tasks are completed.

  • 4-6 hours per week
